Open Access Policy

The Journal of Materials and Engineering is an open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which permits users to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the source.

Copyright Agreement

Authors retain copyright of their work. By publishing in the Journal of Materials and Engineering, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and distribution under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
Authors are required to sign a Copyright Agreement upon acceptance of their manuscript as part of the publication process.

Article Processing Charges (APC) and Funding Model

Journal of Materials and Engineering does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs) or any other publication fees. There are no submission charges, no fees for rejected articles, and no additional costs based on article length, figures, or supplementary materials.
The publication and operational costs of the journal are fully covered by the publisher, the Association for Scientific Publishing and Research (ASPUR), a non-profit academic organization. ASPUR is funded through membership fees, national and institutional research grants, and voluntary academic donations.
This funding model ensures the long-term sustainability of the journal while maintaining full editorial independence. Authors are never charged any fees for submission or publication, and financial contributions do not influence editorial decisions.
